Born and raised in New York City, Ari Roland became a fully professional jazz bassist at the age of 16. After studying at the Juilliard School, he played with many of the most significant figures in Jazz including Betty Carter, Barry Harris, Lou Donaldson, Wynton Marsalis and Harry Connick JR.. Over the last two years, he has traveled extensively for the US Department of State as a Jazz Ambassador, performing in 20 different countries.Chris Byars was born in New York into a family of professional classical musicians. He began studying the saxophone at 14 and has worked with The Glen Miller Band, The Grammy Award Big Band and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. He is equally in demand as a composer and arranger. Sacha Perry comes from Brooklyn, New Yorkand began piano studies at the age of 6. After receiving classical training at the Mannes School of Music, he became a regular attendant at jazz jam sessions throughout the city. Sacha isrecognized in the US as the most authentic Bebop pianist of his generation.His talents as a composer have also won him critical acclaim. Keith Balla was born in Austin, Texas. He moved to New York City in 2004. A student of master drummer and teacher Kenny Washington, Keith began working professionally at the age of 17.He has toured in the US, Europe and Asia and made his CD debut this year.
